From here the seat of Government works as well as the Assembly of Legislators, the Judiciary and the Electoral Function. In our city there are embassies and consulates, public and private universities, professional associations, chambers of industry and commerce, among many others.
In addition to being the headquarters of Ecuador's political and governmental management apparatus, we are also the economic nucleus of the country. We are the point of reference in the region in terms of productive, cultural, and sports activities, innovation programs, and the creation of projects that seek to improve ways of living on the planet.

Our international port of arrival is the Mariscal Sucre Airport located 40km from the city with good roads to reach it. Complies with all safety, quality and global regulatory standards.
There are 17 international airlines, with more than 180 frequencies per week, which make it possible to connect Quito with any part of the world. We have commercial flights that operate in the City with direct origin from the United States, Canada, Holland, Spain, France, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Brazil and Chile.
Regarding ground mobilization; access routes such as the E35, E28, communicate Quito with the rest of the country.
