Panoramas and Resumption of flights

According to the International Air Transport Association - IATA, the initial financial results for the first quarter of 2020 confirm the expected and significant deterioration in the profitability of the entire airline industry, amid the negative impact of the coronavirus outbreak. Margins deteriorated mainly in Asia Pacific but also in Europe and the Americas, with the impact worsening as the virus spread across the globe.

Currently, 13 airlines operate in Quito that make direct flights to international destinations such as; Houston, Atlanta, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Mexico, Cancun, El Salvador, San José, Panama, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Santo Domingo, Medellín, New York and 2 transatlantic flights to: Madrid, Amsterdam.
