The annual event “Sal Quiteña 2025”, a gastronomic festival, has become one of the city’s emblematic events, combining local flavors, entrepreneurship, and tourism.
In this edition, held over 2 days, the festival welcomed 20,125 attendees, generating a total expenditure of USD 393,674.96—higher than the figure recorded in 2024 (USD 303,788.59), when the event lasted 4 days. In other words, in half the time, “Sal Quiteña 2025” generated greater economic spillover, demonstrating a stronger and more concentrated impact.
