Description
The Centro de Arte Contemporáneo operates in the old Military Hospital, in the picturesque of San Juan. The building complex has a single linear style, wich was first adopted in the city as a result of European sanitariums, whose distribution, natural light and ventilation provide the feeling of space.
The construction of this stunning work of architecture began in 1900. Today this building has been renovated to serve as the stage of a variety of events and activities. It is an ideal blend of historic architecture and modern décor, proud home to the Quito’s Contemporary Art Center.
